In addition to my family, my pets and my books are my greatest loves.

One of my favorite things to do in life is to curl up in a comfy chair with a cup of tea, a book, and a blanket. To make it even better, I also enjoy my 2 dogs cuddling next to me. That feeling of bliss, comfort, and coziness is what inspired the name of this blog and Tea + Book + Blanket was born.

This website is my way to showcase that love and to share my finds with others in the bookish community. I love supporting authors and showcasing their work on this blog.

I have a few favorite sub-genres of fiction that I spotlight here including: cozy mysteries, historical romance, and science fiction. And you probably won’t be surprised to know that I gravitate to books with animals, such as dog detective novels and K-9 action/adventure series!

After constantly searching every month for the newest releases in my favorite genres, I decided to start this blog to organize myself and hopefully help you too. I hope to be a fun resource for you by helping you find new and interesting books every month.

On this blog I’m planning to have a lot of fun with giveaways, author interviews, and maybe even a virtual book club.
